Vans Rv I Have A 1983 Chevrolet Van/RV With A Cigarette Lighter That Doesn't Work....help?

I have a 1983 Chevrolet Van/RV with a cigarette lighter that doesn't work....help? - vans rv

I checked the fuse box (with the hope that was like a blown fuse easy), but connected to the radio "hot" wire to the fuse box. I picked up the ashtray and tried to play to the cable in the lighter, but there was nothing.

Would it be easier to install a new lighter .... seems simple. I have tried to remove the cigarette lighter, not to go but in the other option is to install a lighter in the new dashboard is more accessible than the ashtray.

Suggestions?
